On August 21st, Cheryl Ma took some time away from all of her ongoing work at the ashram to throw herself into the task of making 108 bars of soap for the inauguration program. She came up with some amazing new fragrance combinations that we know will be a big hit!
Cherri Ma assisted with the first batch of soap so she could learn the process and participate in future soap-making efforts.
On August 22nd, Ben Baba came from the Homestead ashram to lend his capable helping hands to all of the construction projects underway for the inauguration program. Today Heath, Ben, and Garrett made good progress on the electrical work in the outdoor kitchen.
Here’s a photo that was missing from the last post: David Baba crawling out from under the foundation of the main house. He was assessing the level of work needed to make some minor repairs to the foundation of the original 1939 farm-house section.
It was a really tight squeeze, and kind of dark and scary under there, but he didn’t blink an eye. Thank you for your courage, and everything else, David!
