On Christmas Day, the first truss has gone up! Progress was slowed by some wet weather, and then by a few days of freezing cold weather. But now the weather in Texas is warm and delightful.

The goshala, or cow shelter, is envisioned to be a metal building that will match the barns and cottages on the property. It will have a concrete floor with rubber covering, and it will have screened openings for cross-ventilation. There will be shutters that can be closed over the screens in cold weather.
