Today, Daniel Lewis of the Texas Forest Service visited the ashram property to help assess the health of our pecan trees. Along the way, he pointed out a few trees that he does not see too often. He called them “treasures”. Actually, he called our entire property a treasure, much to our delight!

He said that a good number of our pecan trees are in excellent health; we simply need to provide them with more nitrogen and sulfur, and we can anticipate that they will thrive and produce well this year.
