A resurgence in donations, pledges, and moral support for the new bath house and laundry facility in the past ten days has breathed new life into the project. We are happy to report that everything is back on track. We still anticipate completion by the end of June or the first week of July.
Ladies who are coming to the Temple of Compassion for the Summer Camp and Guru Purnima programs next month will be thrilled to use the new facilities.
With the latest round of new donations and matching funds, nearly 75% of the total cost of the project is covered – a nice big jump from the 52% just ten days ago! We are thankful to all who are making it possible.
This week the drywall was taped and floated, the walls and ceilings were textured, the windows were framed, and the cabinets and inner doors were installed.
