The two existing “tiny houses” for male guests have been painted, and electrical conduit has been run to them. Air conditioners have been purchased and will be installed after the houses are wired, insulated, and sheet-rocked on the inside.
Two more concrete slabs have been poured and are ready for the other two tiny houses to be constructed.
We are getting bids from contractors for all of this work, but to eliminate expenses, we invite enthusiastic kriyavans to join together now to construct the two new houses. These are kits with all the pieces pre-cut, all the nails and screws, and easy-to-follow instructions. The first two were constructed by volunteers and lady ashramites in just a few days, and they came together in beautiful fashion!
The hope is that before the Foundation Day program in September, all four tiny houses will be finished to provide comfortable sleeping quarters for up to twelve gentlemen. Two enclosed showers and toilets are also being designed and planned in this area for the future.
