What is the Wellness Center?
Early on, kriyavans who helped set the direction for the Temple of Compassion saw the ashram as a powerful oasis for healing and wellness. Indeed, those who visit the ashram agree that the property itself is full of healing energy. With this in mind, the ashram and its supporters began taking steps during the first four years of existence to build on this natural positive energy.

The first step was to introduce weekend workshops with wellness themes, and the second step was to offer home-grown ayurvedic medicinals and cow-based remedies under the name Pranada Products. These two early endeavors were well-accepted and had begun to build momentum before COVID-19 set in.

Having regrouped after a year of dealing with the pandemic, the weekend workshops are being replaced by online offerings, and some new facilities have just been inaugurated to allow Pranada Products to expand its activities.

To communicate Wellness Center initiatives and to continue building momentum, a dedicated blog category has been added to the Temple of Compassion blog website. Here you will find offerings from, and introductions to, the pioneers who give generously of their skills to help move the Wellness Center concept forward.
