Within 24 hours of the “Pledge Challenge” announcement, the Dallas Center and its members responded with donations of just over $7000! When the matching funds from the pledge challenge kriyavan are added, the total raised under the pledge challenge so far will be a little more than $14,000. Truly a blessing for this important Temple of Compassion project.
We still have until March 4th to find three more donors of $1000 each to maximize the matching funds offered by the pledge challenge kriyavan.
A follow-on fundraising idea has been proposed, and it involves Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji’s life-changing teachings on the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali. More information will be posted soon.
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: We have experienced a lot of rainfall in the past few weeks, and it is still raining. The other projects our construction crew is working on have been delayed, and the start of our project will therefore be delayed. We are scheduled to meet with the crew on March 13th to calculate the new schedule.
