At 9:28 AM on June 19th, 2018, Karuna gave birth to a little heifer (female) calf. Both are happy and in good health after a trip to the local veterinarian was required to bring the baby out. We are so blessed to be in the company of such divine beings. They are beautiful, and it is adorable and heart-warming to watch the love of the mother and child for one another.

]]> After a restless night last night, today Karuna got some rest. It doesn’t look like she’s “resting comfortably” however. The extra weight and size make it more and more difficult for her to lie down or even to walk. The calf is moving around, kicking, and responding to singing and chanting.  What a blessing to have this beautiful experience here at our ashram.  🙂
